Developing partnerships with educational and research institutions

As a spin-out company of the Belgian University of Louvain-la-Neuve (UCL), Respect-IT aims at bridging the gap between university research and the industry. Our product Objectiver is an excellent illustration of a successful technology transfer. Indeed, Objectiver is based on the KAOS goal-driven approach whose initiative has been undertaken by Pr Axel van Lamsweerde and his research team at UCL; and Respect-IT has been applying the approach successfully in many different industrial contexts since 1998.

Developing a powerful software tool to support the methodology has been Respect-IT's challenge for several years. It's now time to give the possiblity to a larger community of practitioners to reap the benefits of this brand new and efficient way of engineering requirements. You, as a member of educational or research institution, can be a key player in helping us to win this new challenge, and we can together build a strong partnership based on a win-win strategy.

On the one hand, we want to offer you dedicated licenses of Objectiver so that you and your students can benefit  from this technology at very attractive conditions. On the other hand, we would like to take into account your ideas, experience and feedback in order to improve our tool, and contribute to its broadest possible diffusion.

e are convinced that Objectiver will deeply contribute to a global process improvement in requirements engineering.

We sincerely hope that this approach will meet your interest.

For educational and research institutions, 3 types of licenses are available:
